About me:

I have a BSc in Biochemistry from King’s College London. I started my career as a Medical Sales Representative, working for Ashfield Commercial and Medical Services. I had a career break and began looking into other career opportunities, and decided to move into Medical Communications. I accepted a positon in account management as an opportunity to maintain a keen interest in medicine. My first role was with S&H Transart – I worked on developing eLearning programs for sales reps. I decided it was time to broaden my knowledge of the industry, and here I am!

Why I chose Caudex:

I have worked here for just over a year. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a great bunch of people and a supportive team – even though I work from home a few days a week, I very much still feel a part of the team. Caudex is part of a global network, providing career opportunities and exposure to various projects and deliverables, in a range of therapy areas. Caudex provides a good work-life balance and are willing to make adjustments in order for this to happen. So why have I stayed? It’s a fun place to work and has opportunities to work on different projects! It’s a good combination of high science and business – no two days are the same!

Piece of advice to recruits:

Apart from academic achievements, are there other things that you are involved in? Charities, sports, travelling? MedComms is a competitive industry – when recruiting at entry-level, employers know that candidates have little/no work experience, therefore including details about part-time jobs, travelling etc. is vital to make your profile stand out in a crowded market.
